Account Manager - Frozen

40 per week

Permanent - Full Time

KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS

  • Development of our business with our principal customers to retain share and provide growth through innovation and facilitating direct with grower model
  • Driving significant growth within all channels (Main estate/online)
  • Coordinate sale of Frozen berries to customers to optimise grower returns and develop BG share within those customers
  • Provide the basis of a trading relationship that establishes BG as the pre-eminent UK supplier to those customers and rebuilds our relevance within the imports programme
  • Provide marketing (sales) advice to growers suppling your customers
  • Manage and develop the key customer trading relationships to secure a greater share and breadth of business within the customer base
  • Through account management skills deliver the best return per kilo possible from your customer segment minimising wastage and managing variances to plan in the most efficient way (price recovery and minimised waste)
  • Build customer relationships and develop demand led plan for BG’s frozen activities including working with Insights to identify areas for growth of both volume and returns for the group
  • Work collaboratively with Principle Frozen grower contacts (Place/Snell/Williamson) to develop overall frozen plans and customer execution and ensure continuity of fruit supply and support of commercial programs
  • Management of in season fresh to frozen sales for excess UK crop and optimise returns for grower base working alongside CM’s responsible for each berry
