MAFA farms were established in 1989 in Nobaria; a desert reclaimed area. The farms are owned and centrally managed by Magrabi Agriculture (Grower and Exporter) through an integrated food safety and quality management system that complies with the food industry's international standards; Fairtrade, Global Gap, BRC, Leaf, SEDEX, McDonald's (SQMS), Tesco Nature’s Choice, ISO22000:2005, and M&S Field to Fork. Magrabi Agriculture's pack houses have been audited by EFSIS SAI Global against IFS and achieved grade A certificates.
Their client list now covers almost 40 countries worldwide including Australia, Canada, European countries, Central Europe, Gulf countries, South East Asia and the UK.

Based on special terms of supply, some of the organic farms and products have also been recognised to be compliant with Tesco Natures Choice, M&S Field to Fork, as well as Fairtrade.
