New research data places Jubilee strawberries, as the nation’s favourite in a survey conducted between the 10th and the 17th July*. The research based across a broad spectrum of strawberry consumers clearly placed Jubilee as the market leader for taste and quality. Jubilee saw a significant increase of over 13% consumer awareness when compared to a similar survey just three years ago.
37% of those surveyed placed Jubilee as the number 1 premium strawberry against 24% in 2009. Jubilee also placed first in the taste test with the majority of those polled who expressed a preference when buying strawberries, choosing Jubilee over other varieties.
It is no surprise that Jubilee, being a premium strawberry, resonates well with households with a higher household income. 75% of those questioned within this income bracket declared Jubilee as excellent for quality, taste, value, and overall.
Jubilee Strawberries are available from most leading supermarkets in a premium range, including Marks & Spencer, Sainsbury, Tesco and Asda. Consumers will be able to benefit from in-store offers on Jubilee that will continue throughout the summer. Jubilee will be available in shops until the end of September.
*The research for Jubilee Strawberries was carried out between: 10 / 07 / 2012 and 17 / 07 / 2012
Sample: 502 adults aged 35+ ABC1
